US Phoenix Integration expands its European operations to Lyon, France

Phoenix Integration, developer of ModelCenter®, a leading framework for process automation and design space exploration, is expanding its European operations following the appointment of Yvain Ballini, Regional Sales Manager for Europe at the end of 2016, and Florence Hill, Sales and Marketing Administrator, in March 2017. They will now be located at the new commercial headquarters in Lyon, France. Dr Ilya Tolchinsky, Lead Application Engineer for the EMEA Territory, will continue to operate from the Toulouse, France, location.
“The opening of the Lyon facility is the next step in the expansion of our presence on the EMEA territory. Phoenix remains committed to building our organization in EMEA to ensure that we can fully support our customers and industry partners,” said Jane Trenaman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Integration.
PHX ModelCenter has been successfully implemented by prestigious aerospace companies such as The Boeing Company, Airbus, Rolls-Royce and Fokker; and is also a key technology asset for leading research labs such as DLR, IRT Saint Exupery and Onera where it helps engineers to assess performance and define recommendations for future programs. While Phoenix Integration’s solutions have been widely adopted by the aerospace and defense industries, new markets – including ship design, alternative energy, building design, and heavy industries – have begun to apply Phoenix software to meet simulation driven design needs with great success. In the automotive industry, both Honda and General Motors are utilizing Phoenix technologies.
Phoenix Integration’s ModelCenter® is the environment for Model Based Engineering. ModelCenter® is a vendor-neutral software framework for creating and automating multi-tool workflows, optimizing product designs, and sharing engineering data and knowledge. It is used by leading organizations worldwide to reduce development costs, improve engineering efficiency, stimulate innovation, and design more competitive products.
